We have had some decent weather this Spring, and I've had the chance to get out on the river quite a few times, either solo, or with good friends. I've found that in these weeks before the runoff, the trout can have quite the appetite. Although midges seem to be what they are most interested in, last week I caught a nice brown on a size 14 Parachute Adams. I enjoyed nymph fishing, but there is nothing like catching a trout on a nice, juicy, dry fly!
